DON’T DO LIFE ALONE
They are your key to developing healthy relationships with those who share your interests, or people who are dealing with similar life issues.
e/Groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with God.
Groups meet in homes, businesses, restaurants, or other locations throughout the city. These groups change at different times during the year, so you have the opportunity to explore different groups and you can join a group at any time. You’ll never fully experience all Elevate Life Church has to offer until you connect in an e/Group!
WHAT KINDS OF GROUPS DO YOU OFFER?
We want you to meet other people while doing something which interests you. e/groups fall within three categories that correspond to the mission of ELC, “Encounter God. Embrace others. Elevate your world.” “Encounter” groups help you develop your relationship with God (like a Bible study or prayer group). “Embrace” groups help you build relationships with others through social activities (like Zumba, paintball, or a game night). “Elevate” groups aim to help others in our community and world through outreach activities.
HOW OFTEN DO GROUPS MEET?
That is entirely up to the group leader. Some groups meet once a week, others meet every other week, and some are just once a month! The leader will make all group members aware of the schedule (and the schedule will also be posted in the e/groups booklet).
HOW LONG IS THE COMMITTMENT TO THE GROUP?
Our groups usually run for three months (as we know that interests change along with schedules). While we encourage you to commit to the three-month time-frame in order to give relationships a chance to grow, feel free to visit as many as you’d like until you find one that fits you.
