Things To Do For Easter
We’re just one week away from one of the best holidays of the year! Easter is a special time to remember what Jesus sacrificed for us and it’s a great chance to share with friends. Here are a few ways you can celebrate Easter with those around you.
Read the Easter story.
It’s important to take the time to reflect on why we’re celebrating Easter, and a great way to do that is to read in the Bible how Jesus died and rose again for us. You can find the Easter story in Luke 23:32-24:12. This is a great activity to do alone with God, or with family and friends!
Have an Easter egg hunt.
Though Easter eggs don’t come from the original Easter story, it’s still a chance to have some traditional fun with your closest people! This activity doesn’t have to be just for kids either. Hide dollar bills, chocolate, or inexpensive home good ideas. If you want to liven it up even more, try having the egg hunt in the dark!
Visit a local church.
